In these relaxed, guided discussions, we’ll dig into the big issues of EdTech and explore how to implement our theories in our practice.

In this session, led by Open Learning video producer Jon Fulton, participants will learn about different possibilities for using lightboards in the classroom (or for fun!).

Over the course of our Digital Detox, we’ll make time to get out from behind our computers and share a coffee while we discuss some of the big issues raised in the Digital Detox postings.

This interactive workshop will provide an overview of chatbots in education and will involve attendees working in groups to identify a use case and build a paper based chatbot. Second workshop in our H5P series. By the end of this workshop you will have experience creating a course presentation in WordPress — you may even have a presentation ready to use by the end of your time with us.

This is the first of a three part series on creating interactive content; we encourage you to attend all three. We will be using the H5P activity in Moodle to make an HTML5-based interactive video which allows you to add multiple choice and fill in the blank questions, pop-up text and other types of interactions.
